I’ve got some work to do for school, and well I’m stuck. Case study is about a dating agency that wants a prototype done. We have to create an Access database that has forms, switchboard and reports. I’ve done most of the stuff, it’s just one task thats totally confused me. We were given guidelines how to set up the database, and relationships etc. I have five tables – Client, Client Meeting, Client Hobby, Hobby and Meeting. The database has to match people together automatically based on "Gender, Age, Hobbies, City/Town". I thought this would happen with a query but I’ve been trying for ages now and still stuck at this point!

So your database purpose is to match compatabiliy of their client.
yes you can do this in query, forms or reports.

I am wondering if there is a way on how to connect a Microsoft Access database to an online MYSQL database (they both run with mysql so it should be possible)

Create a Data Source using the Data Source Manager in the Administrative Tools area of Windows. After that, Created a Linked Table in Access, point it to the data source you created, and pick the tables you’d like to link.

Id like to create a database using microsoft access, in order to enter daily sales of multiple locations. Also have it it be able to calculate the sales by entering the the opening figure and the closing figure, to get a gross. then have it figure out tax/overrings.

Media has much reported on the fate of more than 300,000 tamil IDPs currently held in internment camps funded by UN and International agencies and their lack of freedom of movement. These rare images emerging from Sri Lanka shows the forgotten storey of Tamils who are dog-taged and arrested by Sri Lankan Military Officers for interrogations as possible suspects of Tamil Tigers.
