Media has much reported on the fate of more than 300,000 tamil IDPs currently held in internment camps funded by UN and International agencies and their lack of freedom of movement. These rare images emerging from Sri Lanka shows the forgotten storey of Tamils who are dog-taged and arrested by Sri Lankan Military Officers for interrogations as possible suspects of Tamil Tigers. Sri Lankan government has claimed that they have arrested more than 10,000 suspects but ICRC has only access 2,000 of them. None of this suspects were produced in courts and dont have access to any legal support & effectively in illegal imprisonment.

Ramdisk or RAM-Disk is a virtual hard drive based on software abstraction that treats a segment of random access memory (RAM) as secondary storage which is similar to hard disks, except with advantage that ramdisk is a lot faster and access time is greatly improved. As there is no mechanical moving parts involved, there wont be question of wear and tear too. Ramdisk has one obvious downside, that its volatile and not solid state. Contents in Ramdisk is stored in computer RAM, which will be lost when the power of computer is switched off.
The following freeware RRamdisk.sys, originally written by Gavotte based on Microsofts Ramdisk.sys, and later being added a GUI interface by lyh728 is not only free to use, it also stable, doesnt have size limitation, supports popular FAT16,FAT32, NTFS filesystems, and supports Windows 2000 operating system and above including Vista.

This demonstration shows working code to automate the adding of new items on a drop down list when they are not found on the list. The code demonstrates how to detect when the item the user is trying to enter is not on the list. The code then gets the user’s permission to add the item and take the user to a form where the item is entered for the person. When the user closes the form, the user is taken back to the combo box (drop down list) which has been refreshed and the newly added item has been selected. An example files are available which work in versions of Microsoft Access 97, 2000, 2002, 2007.

This is a video on how to audit object access on a Server 2008 domain controller (DC) and a client of the domain. I deny permission to a folder for a user and then view the record in the security log in event viewer. Remember that events are always recorded on the local machine. These type of events can be done on Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2003, 2000, 7, XP, or Vista. They don’t require active directory. If you are in a workgroup you’ll need to set local group policy (GPO).
Name of auditing – server 2008 defaults
Audit Account Logon Events -successful and failed
Triggered anytime you log into the domain. If the computer or user authenticates to the DC it’s an account logon event.
Audit Logon events – successful and failed
Creates an event when you logon to a computer. You log into a domain, an event is recorded on the DC. You log in locally, the event is recorded on that machine. You access a folder, you authenticate to that machine and the event is recorded on that machine.
Audit Account Management – successful only
Audits events for creation, deletion, or modification of users, groups, computers, or passwords.
Audit Directory Service Account – successful only
Audits events specified on the security of objects in AD.
Audit Policy Change – successful only
Audits events that modify user rights.
Audit Privilege use – none
Not sure. Is this the Security setting in GPME? “audits the use of a privilege or user right.”
Audit System Events – sucess and failure
Audits success, failure, or changes that affect they system or security log.
Audit Process tracking – success
Audits events such as program activation and process exit
audit object access – success
Audits access to objects such as files, folders, registry keys, and printers that have their access control list (ACL) or security tab. Requires enable options on those items as well

In 2000, USC Canada produced a 15 minute educational program exploring the issue of food security. Using examples from our programs in Mali and Nepal, you’ll see how, in the communities where we work, our partners are ensuring everyone has access to enough safe and nutritious food.
USC would like to thank Kensington Communications (www.kensingtontv.com or youtube.com/user/KensingtonTV) for their generous support in producing this video.

I need to convert this to be able to use it on visual basic 6.0 ………I already deleted my office 2003….could you help me pls…………………….
It is probably very hard because Microsoft doesn’t provide a lot of capability to write to older file versions.
If you have the VB6 source code then it may be possible to change it so that it uses an ODBC connection to the database.
If you need more then you can use Yahoo Email (see my profile page) if you want to get more details
