I need help on networking or access point.?

Friday, January 21st, 2011

I watched a video on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k69jPfpxo… that turns a laptop as access point using a wireless card. My question is can i use a wifi USB adapter that support infrastructure mode instead of wireless card ((BTW i will use it on a PC not laptop and a XP OS))

ALso how to you make a wifi adapter as access point? Pls. Help…..

I Don’t want a router so don’t suggest also don’t suggest me on datel wifi max thingy…

I believe that to be impossible. Although not entirely. You would need a specific type of wireless card that can do that kind of function. I’m not too sure. Try and contact the person of the video.

There’s a glitch on Fallout 3 that won’t let me access certain areas, I need help!?

Wednesday, January 19th, 2011

I’ve been playing Fallout 3 on my Xbox 360 for a while now and every time I try to go into Our Lady of Hope Hospital for the Reilly’s Rangers quest, my game freezes. It’ll do the loading screen but then everything goes black and my controller won’t do anything. I’ve already tried playing it from the disc (I had installed it onto my hard drive) and it still glitches. Any suggestions?

Well if you have Game of The Year Edition then thats the problem. My friends and I have it (mostly for PS3 though but some 360 players too) and it freezes, no scratches or nothing its just the game. But try and save in a close spot and restart, thats the best thing you can do.

Please help compy experts!!! I have Windows XP. For some reason it won’t let me have access to my desktop.

Friday, January 14th, 2011

After I type in my password, the compy says it’s loading my personal settings. Then almost immediately it says "logging off" and saving my personal settings. Can someone please tell me what the heezy is going on and how I can fix it? I would very much appreciate a reply! Thanks

Shut down completely.

Reboot.

If this doesn’t work, you’ll have to Repair your Windows installation using your setup disks.

MS Access report generation…..need help?

Tuesday, January 11th, 2011

I want to generate a report from my MS access database. I used the report wizard to do it. But when I preview my report, and print it, the data is not there but the heading and the footer are there. How can I make the data appear on my report? Can you give me some codes or some tips about my problem? Please help! Thanks in advance….

There are 2 things that I can suggest…
First, make sure that somehow the Visible property of the "Detail" section of your report did not get set to No. To check this, go into the report in Design View. You will see the different sections of your report (Report Header, Page Header, Detail, Page Footer, Report Footer are common sections of a report). Click anywhere in the Detail section. Then right click. You will get a menu. Click on Properties. On either for Format tab or the All tab, look for Visible. Make sure that it is set to Yes.
Second, is make sure that there are actual records that should display. If the reports Record Source is an empty table or a query that will return no results then there won’t be anything to display! If you are not sure what the Record Source is, check the Reports properties. To do that, open the report in Design View. Click on the tiny square in the very upper left hand side of the report, then Right click and go to properties. Records Source should be the top item listed.

Planning a database before you begin is important because:

a.you cannot change database after it is created.
b.a well-planned database will be more efficient for accessing information.
c.it is a required step in the database creation wizard in Access.
d.All of the above

and

The objects that allow you to collect and edit data are:
a.tables and forms.
b.tables and reports.
c.reports and queries.
d.tables, forms, queries, and reports.

any help will be appreciated!

Most aspects of a database can be edited after it’s been created, and there is no database creation wizard, so I’m going to say B.

Tables store data, and forms make it easier to input. Queries just search and sort data, and report are for printing, so that’s probably A.

So, that’s A and B.
