Kevin Maurice Garnett (born May 19, 1976) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays at the power forward for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). After having a successful high school basketball career at Farragut Career Academy, he decided to forgo college and entered NBA Draft. He was selected with the 5th overall pick in the 1995 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves and became the first NBA player drafted directly out of high school in 20 years.

Garnett made an immediate impact with the Minnesota Timberwolves leading them to eight-consecutive playoff appearances. In 2004, Garnett led the Timberwolves to the Western Conference Finals and was voted Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the 2003-04 season. In the 2000 Summer Olympics, he won a Gold medal as a member of the USA men’s national basketball team. Since his second season in the league, Garnett hes been named to every All-Star Game, which includes winning the All-Star MVP award in 2003. He was awarded the regular season’s NBA Defensive Player of the Year in the 2007-08 season and has been a nine-time member of the All-NBA Teams selection and a ten-time member of the All-Defensive Teams selection.

The x-intercept is the point on the graph where the line crosses the x-axis, so the x-intercept will always have a y-coordinate of 0, and the y-intercept is the point on the graph where the line crosses the y-axis, so the y-intercept will always have an x-coordinate of 0. So to graph x + 2y = 6 using the intercept method, substitute a 0 in for y to find the x-intercept, to get x + 2(0) = 6, or x = 6. So the x-intercept is (6, 0). And substitute a 0 in for x to find the y-intercept, to get (0) + 2x = 6, or x = 3. So the y-intercept is (0, 3). Next, plot the intercepts, (6, 0) and (0, 3), and connect these points with a line.

Canvassing Board pulls out a calculator to tally precinct recount totals and can’t manage the calculator. Dent capitlilizes on her own “human error” to profess to all who witness “Machines always count better than humans…” and then in the very same breath, recites an early voting precint with a whopping undervote of 1,115.

Absentee recount scanner “flips” one vote from Christine Jennings (D) to Vern Buchanan (R). Aware of the rolling camera, Dent attempts to reconcile this and can’t. Kathy Dent’s husband runs around with full access behind the lines, fetching Dent her Diet Cokes.

Susan Pynchon, Director of the Florida Fair Elections Coalition-who misses nothing-responds to reporter’s questions about the State’s recount procedure.

Kathy Dent, in another one of her awkward press conferences, announces FINAL results of RECOUNT to the PRESS and offers no explanation for the undervote to the flaccid media, who don’t even ask for one.

Hayden Dempsey, Buchanan’s shifty lawyer, makes being wrong about everything look so easy. “Touch Screen Voting” promo sign that hangs in the Sarasota Board of Elections Terrace office is in both english and spanish, “Easy as 1-2-3!”
